8.12.2011     Striding over 2011

On the first day of December, fifteen alumnae joined the Athletics Meet at Kowloon Tsai Park and put on their best speed in the 4x100m Alumnae Relay. Their performance and support for the event certainly brought excitement to the audience on a cool winter day. We thank the coordinators, whose persistence in contacting our alumnae contributed to the success of the annual event. Photos will be uploaded soon.

More AA events are on their way to invite your participation in the coming year. Please stay tuned, and while waiting, why not draft a logo for us? To part a little secret here, the winner will receive our new products with her logo in addition to the prize stated in the poster!

11.11.2011     Do you know where our new logo is?

What comes into your mind when HFCCAA is mentioned? The orange colour, the house? A home of warmth that unite the past members of the houses of harmony, peace, praise and joy? All these impressions explain how a powerful logo speaks. As our alma mater is turning to a new leaf of its history, AA is determined to follow its path in uniting the once-girls-now-ladies. We are now looking for a new and equally representative logo! All Holy Familians are invited to contribute their creativity from now till mid February. As an insider's tip, apart from the prizes stated in the poster, the winner is going to receive a set of AA products printed with the new logo! For details, please read the poster of the competition.

24.10.2011     HFCC is turning into her Forty!

AA's prime event for this executive year is beyond doubt the HFCC 40th Anniversary dinner. We are glad to share an active part in the celebration of the memorial occasion by organizing the anniversary dinner with the school and PTA in July. (Consequently, the special event will replace our annual dinner in March.) At this initial stage of the preparation, we hope to receive alumnae's generous support in terms of monetary sponsor. 22.10.2011     Sr. Margaret and HFCC

The Requiem Mass for Sr. Margaret was held today. In memory of Sr. Margaret (1933-2011),  we  have collected a few of her manuscripts as well as photos and combined them into a special pamphlet. As an interesting fact, Sr. Margaret was the composer of the lyrics of our old school song. Read more about this principal's work during the early period of our alma mater's history here

21.9.2011     Thank you, Mrs. Chiu & Welcome Miss Chan!

On the first meeting of this executive year, Mrs. Yip introduced Miss Anita Chan to the committee members. Miss Chan was going to replace Mrs. Chiu to be  the new AA advisor. Like all of us, Miss Chan is a Canossian graduate. She teaches Mathematics. The committee gladly welcomed this new member into our big family and looked forward to work as a new team in the near future; meanwhile, recollecting our freshly-formed friendship, we reluctantly let Mrs. Chiu go. Given her multiple identities as an alumna, teacher as well as advisor, it is not unreasonable to regard her as one of the most devoted Holy Familians! We cannot thank her nor Mrs. Chan enough for their hard work last year. Despite her leaving of the committee, she will continue to be our valued friend.
